Our first meeting of the new year will be held on Wednesday January 25, 2012 at 7pm. All members are encouraged to attend.
Events of 2011- We hosted an "Irish Variety Show" on October 23, 2011 at the North Schuylkill Highschool Auditorium. What a great time! After the show, the LAOH members chanced off our annual Irish Themed Basket. The 2011 winner was Joan Hollowaty from Frackville. Congratulations!
Our last meeting was held on Wednesday November 30, 2011. After the meeting, members decorated a tree in Irish fashion for the Girardville Historical Society's "Deck the Halls Celebration" held December 2 till December 4, 2011. The tree won 3rd place. Congrats on a awesome job. The LAOH Division #18 Christmas Party was held on Wednesday, December 15, 2011 at 6:30pm at The Mineshaft Cafe, Ashland.
Fundraisers:
"Centiole's Pizza Coupons" -Ladies will be selling coupons good for one small pizza from the famous Centiole's Pizza in Girardville. Price is $11.50. What a great gift idea for any occasion. Please see any current LAOH Div #18 member for more information.
"Cookbooks" Ladies are selling Irish Cookbooks that include recipes of our members and friends. Only $10. If you would like to purchase a cookbook, please contact Eileen Wayne at 570-276-6383.
